VNC, leading developer of open-source-based enterprise applications, is adding VNCteamwork and VNCgroupware to the functionality of its communication platform VNClagoon LIVE. For individual users the offer is still free of charge.
Shortly after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, VNC provided its open source communication platform VNClagoon LIVE free of charge. It includes the web messenger VNCmeet for real-time communication with individual and group chats, voice messages, video and audio conferences, screen sharing and collaborative work on text documents. Today, VNC extends the scope of the platform’s functions by adding VNCteamwork and VNCgroupware.
VNCteamwork
VNCteamwork consists of the planning tool VNCtask, with which tasks and to-dos can be easily managed. In addition, VNCproject, VNC’s project management software, is optionally available for professional users. The transparent management and control of projects is currently for many companies one of the most important tasks to maintain business operations. VNCproject helps with highly efficient tools such as Meta Roadmap Planning (MRP) and Agile Boards,which can monitor and track the progress, critical deviations, resource budgets, as well as the workload of each team member in each project phase.
VNCgroupware
VNCgroupware includes VNCmail, VNCcontacts and VNCcalendar. This gives users access to all e-mail features, calendar functions as well as contact and address management. In addition, files and attachments can be stored in the VNCmail mailbox, making them available for mobile use at any time.
VNCmeet, VNCteamwork and VNCgroupware are available as web client, as desktop client for Mac, Linux and Windows and as an app for Android and iOS. VNCproject can be used via the web client in common browsers.
