We are now well into Q3 2021 and it is the perfect time to take a step back, work out your priorities and what you intend to deliver to your users by the end of Q4 and how you’re going to get there. But it is also a great time to reflect on what you’ve achieved since the beginning of the year.
At VNC we’ve been rolling out our Kubernetes platform since the end of last year and we’ve included a GIT visualisation video to show just how hard we’ve been working. Furthermore you can see how collaborative we’ve been as a team despite sharing no single location or timezone. As VNC is a Virtual Organisation, this was the case even before the Corona crisis.
It’s also very refreshing (and therapeutic) whilst watching the visualisation to marvel at what we’ve achieved in a relatively short space of time.
What is Kubernetes?
Kubernetes is an open-source container-orchestration system for automating computer application deployment, scaling, and management. It was originally designed by Google and is now maintained by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. It aims to provide a “platform for automating deployment, scaling, and operations of application containers across clusters of hosts”. It works with a range of container tools and runs containers in a cluster, often with images built using Docker.
